The 019 Syy Chopping Board is all lively end grain and no compromise. A brutish addition to any kitchen surface, our boards are designed in-house and built from thick solid pine to cope with all manner of culinary chopping and carving. Pine’s psychedelic wood grain is concentrated on the board’s compact surface, bringing bold natural decoration to this kitchen tool. Syy, in fact, translates from Finnish to mean ‘woodgrain’. Our medium board has fat rounded edges which soften its appearance whilst a large board has square edges. Syy Boards bring Vaarnii’s celebration of high quality, pure Finnish pine to the kitchen worktop.

After each use, wash the chopping board by hand with warm water, a small amount of mild washing-up liquid and a soft sponge or brush. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry immediately.
