What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Personal data stored in the register is used to manage the relationships with customers and to manage and develop the Vaarnii’s customer service. Personal data collected may be used for marketing purposes as permitted by applicable laws, such as the Finnish Data Protection Act (previously Finnish Personal Data Act).

We collect the personal information directly from the data subjects themselves. We do not collect information from any other sources.

You are included in Vaarnii’s customer register if you have purchased something at Vaarnii’s web shop or signed up for Vaarnii’s newsletter at the Vaanii website. Content of the register Information included in the following data groups may be processed in the register:
– Basic data such as name; e-mail addresses; telephone numbers; mailing addresses
– Data related to marketing measures, purchases and deliveries.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
