What is the country of origin for your products?
All Vaarnii products are made in Finland. Over 99,99% of the pine we use originates from Finnish forests. Only for our lighting, we use FSC certified pine veneer sourced from Poland. Please check the Makers section of our website for full list of our manufacturing partners.

How are the products treated and how do I take care of them?
All Vaarnii products are finished with stain-resistant, water-repellent hardwax-oil. Pine is a soft wood and will suffer some dents and scratches over time. We ask you to embrace and enjoy these characterful signs of aging. Pine will naturally change color as it ages with your pale piece of furniture will gradually maturing to a beautiful honey color over the course of several years. Do the prices on the site include tax?
Prices listed on Vaarnii website are in EUR and inclusive of Finnish VAT. While these are our Recommended Retail Prices, each one of our selected retailers may have adjusted their prices to cover the local currency fluctuations, duties, taxes and other expenses.
What is the lead time for Vaarnii products?
Vaarnii normally holds stock of the entire range of products. If item is out of stock, lead time generally is less than 10 weeks.
