Due to its flat surface, the Peace Stool can also serve as an easy outdoor table. Built from the same thickly cut and rounded heat-treated boards as the Peace Lounge Chair, the sturdy stool can be moved wherever and used however you wish.

    Pine Wood Characteristics

    All our pine wood is harvested from sustainably managed, PEFC-certified Finnish forests.
     
    Our outdoor products are made of Lunawood ThermoWood®, a non-toxic material produced using only heat and steam. The heat treatment improves the furniture’s resistance to outdoor conditions. To further improve its durability against the elements, each piece is also treated with a clear outdoor wood oil.
     
    The product will begin reacting to UV light once unboxed and exposed to daylight, gradually developing a beautiful silver-grey patina. It will reach its final colour after approximately two years outdoors.
     
    Pine is a softwood (although ours is among the hardest softwoods available) and so will suffer some dents and scratches over time. We ask you to embrace and enjoy these characterful signs of ageing.
     
    Surface cracks are a natural characteristic of solid, heat-treated pine and may appear over time as the wood responds to changing temperatures, moisture and outdoor conditions. They do not affect the furniture's structural strength or intended use, but give each piece a unique and increasingly distinctive character. Celebrating these imperfections is true to Vaarnii's honest and unconventional approach to furniture making.
